Jake Khym | Keynote Speaker

Jake is a Catholic leader with over 20 years experience in various ministry settings. He has a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology with a concentration in Catechetics.
Jake has worked in adult faith formation, seminarian and priestly formation, diocesan evangelization, catechesis, RCIA, retreat ministry, and has a private counseling practice for over 15 years. Currently, Jake offers human and pastoral formation to Catholic leaders, is a consultant to Dioceses and ministries across North America, accompanies male leaders on their journey of faith, and co-hosts two podcasts, Restore the Glory and Way of the Heart. Jake’s heart for forming good, potent men for the building of God’s Kingdom is seen in every aspect of his ministry.
With two children at university, Jake currently lives in Abbotsford, BC with his wife Heather and one of their three children.
Sam Blair | Keynote Speaker

Sam is a former Navy SEAL officer with over a decade of experience leading the most elite teams around the globe. After holding leadership positions on multiple SEAL teams, he taught Leadership and Ethics at the United States Naval Academy. Sam has traveled to over 50 countries and deployed to Africa, the Middle East, and South America. Before transitioning from Active Duty, Sam was a SkillBridge Fellow at a venture capital firm in Baltimore, Maryland. Upon exiting the military Sam built and sold The Frassati Company, a firm which was built to help executives and teams create healthy cultures, and foster effective enterprise communication. Today Sam is the CEO of Valletta Industries a government contracting company doing work across the United States and internationally.
Sam holds an MBA from Cornell University, a leadership certificate from Georgetown University, an executive certification from MIT with a focus on building, leading and sustaining the innovative organization, and an undergraduate degree in Theology from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. Sam and his incredible wife Lauren and their three children are proud parishioners of Saint Peter's Parish in Covington Louisiana.

Fr. Caleb Vogel is a priest of the Diocese of Boise in the state of Idaho in the United States. He has been a priest for 20 years, serving in a variety of roles from Pastor, to University Campus Ministry, Vocation Director and, currently, Vicar General.

The Men's Retreat is for any man 19-years or older.
The Men's Retreat is grounded in the Faith and teachings of the Catholic Church, however we welcome men of all faith backgrounds. We encourage men to attend this retreat with others from their parish or men's group—the retreat experience is always enriched in the context of community.

The Men's Retreat is held at RockRidge Canyon, a beautiful retreat facility located in the scenic outdoors of Princeton, BC.

Every attendee must register individually. However, many men attend the retreat as part of groups from their parishes or men's groups. Attending The Men's Retreat as a group is welcomed and encouraged. In most cases, we are able to keep members of a group together for accommodations.

We offer a variety of accommodation options, including:
Private, Shared Private and Bunk-Style Dorms for those who prefer indoor accommodations.
RV and tenting spaces for those who wish to camp.

Yes, we have a support team and access to transportation to assist those with mobility issues, ensuring everyone can participate comfortably.

We accommodate dietary restrictions and special dietary needs. Please let us know your requirements when you register so we can make the necessary arrangements.

If you are planning to camp, please bring your own camping gear, including a tent or RV, sleeping bags, and any other camping essentials. Remember to pack for varying weather conditions.
Regardless of whether you are camping or staying in one of the RockRidge facilities, we will send you a detailed packing list prior to the retreat.

Registrations canceled on or before August 15 will receive a refund, less a $25 administration fee.
Registrations canceled after August 15 but before September 5 will receive a refund of 50% of the paid registration fee.
Registrations canceled on or after September 5 will not receive a refund. -
The retreat offers a variety of activities, including spiritual talks, times of prayer, the Sacraments, outdoor adventures, and recreational activities. There's something for everyone to enjoy.
